I know I'm a tad late in addressing this one, but for the past two weeks or so there has been speculation as to whether or not it would be necessary to call up the National Guard to Chicago in order to quell the violence in certain areas.
Is it me, or is this a "plain as day" endorsement of the need to learn and spread knowledge of simple, effective and practical personal defense skills?
I mean for God's sake, how much more blunt can it get? If they are thinking of declaring MARTIAL LAW in the city, it's getting bad. And, at that point it is incumbent upon us to learn to protect ourselves and not have to rely on the city, state or federal gov't to help us out (although Chicago has its' place at the top of the line for gov't entitlement mentality-types....but much more on that later....the turds.)
To make it worse, many thugs and gangbangers are migrating into the 'burbs.
Just freakin' perfect.
The issue here is not whether they will deploy troops to Chicago's streets or not...it's the fact that this was even an issue.
